Viseart Friday: Viseart Editorial Brights Eyeshadow Palette

This is it- the last of the 10 Viseart eyeshadow palettes. Although I purchased some of mine during 20% off sales, let's sit and reflect that I've brought you $1104 of eyeshadow from Viseart during this series to date.

I kind of have no words.

This is Editorial Brights; I chose to feature this as the final palette partially because it comes in and out of stock frequently. According to the brand on Instagram, it should be back in the new year.

I know that photo is a bit wonky with glare, but look at the contrast between the navy background and (albeit muted) hues. This is some serious pop.

Urban Decay electrics, this is coming for you.

Oh wait, here's what they really look like.. and I'm going to post these two photos back to back to show the difference that some inexpensive photography lights make.

If you're only into neutrals, spending $80 on this baby is not going to be worthwhile. If you're not either a pro, a Viseart collector, someone into theatre or drag... this is not the Viseart palette for you.

She's beautiful.

Row 2 is when the intensity cranks up:

I can't, you guys. I just can't.

Row 3:

These are just incredible bright shades. I need to do more research to see if the reds are suggested for the eye area or not (like the UD electrics).

Regardless, this is the platinum version of the bright palettes. If you have this, you don't need any others. They're slightly stiffer than the normal Viseart mattes (but the higher levels of pigmentation generally do that to formulas) but pack a punch and do blend.

That's it.  We've made it through a journey that started back in August with these eyeshadow palettes. We've reached the end!

I may have one more product already by my side to feature next week that I used my Rouge $25 off on, and know of one other Viseart product I'm likely to purchase relatively soon. I'm writing this in advance (like most of these posts), so I don't know if I did something crazy on the 16th or not. Perhaps commenter QBB will peep in down below if so.

I'm not sure if the Viseart Fridays will continue into 2018 or not. The blush palettes largely aren't practical for me the way that I can justify the eyeshadows. But if the brand brings out a new release, I'm there.

Viseart Friday: Boheme Eyeshadow Palette

I'm so sorry that I missed a week, but that means that Viseart Friday will stretch with eyeshadow until Christmas. I have my final shimmer palette to share with you- 02 Boheme Dream.

I've heard rumors that this will be retired in the new year, so if it calls for you please nab it while you can. I'll be honest, it took seeing it in person for me to fall in love with it.

It's a delciously complex little palette- yes, the top row are the lightest, medium in the middle, and bottom row the deepest. But there are vertical trios as well.

Let's break this down both in terms of rows and columns.

Row 1 is very light accent colors:

Row 2 is full of lid shades:

Row 3 are beautiful, deep shimmers:

See, when you look at the rows, it doesn't seem special. At least it didn't to me. So, let's look at the vertical columns to see the beauty.

Trio 1 is fiery.

That's what I want all of the warm palettes to look like!

Trio 2 are delicious greens:

I can't wait to really delve into those. I'm so into green right now.

Trio 3 are complex pinks.

And the fourth trio are blues and silvers:

I swear that's silver although it's reflecting blue!

See how gorgeous this palette is? I'm so happy I nabbed it.

Viseart Friday: Viseart Bridal Satin Eyeshadow Palette

We're nearing the end of the road with Viseart Friday, and I'm full of all of the feelings. These final three palettes were all picked up during the VIB Rouge sale, and have given me a true feeling of completeness with my collection. I'm not sure what I'll do next, but I'm so happy to have all of these 12-pan palettes in my collection.

Today we're talking about palette 03, Bridal Satin. Although it has a lovely purple, I've avoided it because I'm not doing bridal makeup, nor am I planning on getting married anytime soon.

Mine came with a bit of a scratch on it, which annoys the snot out of me for $80.

These shades range from a very light yellow "candlelight" shimmer to a deep grey.

Let's jump into this, row by row.

Row 1 are the lightest shades, and there's a light yellow, a silver, a light pink, and a pale silvery blue.

The yellow and pink are the worst performing of the group. I'm seeing these mainly on the inner corner.

Row 2 includes the shade that drew me to the palette- that gorgeous purple.

The pale orange packs quite the punch, then there's a lovely taupe, then that bright purple, and a bold yet muted blue.

Row 3 are the darker, warm shades.

The grey is the only dud, to be honest. That purple totally belongs in the Lila palette, and the 2 neutrals I could wear to work on any given day.

Overall, this is a great palette to have on hand- it produces subtle yet beautiful looks. It's marketed as everything you'd need for bridal makeup, but I also see this as office-friendly makeup.

Viseart Friday: Viseart Dark Mattes Eyeshadow Palette

Happy Viseart Friday! Today I have one of my latest purchases- one that I bought during the Sephora VIB Sale. Today we'll be talking about the Dark Mattes palette.

I've gotten rid of the boxes prior to starting Viseart Friday, so it's fun to finally be able to share this with you. This is the simple packaging that these palettes all come in.

There's a small sticker that identifies the palette enclosed within, but otherwise they're identical.

You receive 12 matte eyeshadows in the Dark Matte palette. I knew there was a reason why I waited so long to pick these up- they're perfect for November. This palette screams fall to me. Just drool a bit.

Although simple, these are classy palettes.

Look how pretty these are- they deepen any look, or can be used alone for a striking fall look.

I've been using these on the outer V a lot lately.

Let's take these, row by row.

The first row is packed with browns and reds- they pair with any number of looks.

The second row has purples and oranges. That third shade in particular is stunning.

The final row is full of blues and greens. I've been showing off this row with my colorful looks lately.

This is a supplementary palette with my complexion, but it's gorgeous and amazing and perfect. It's such high quality that I adore it. This is one of my favorites in the line- and perfect for this time of year.

Viseart Friday: Bijoux Royal Eyeshadow Palette

Happy Viseart Friday!

 Meet Bijoux Royal, the palette inspired by gemstones and velvet- according to the brand. Yes, we're dealing with yet another shimmery palette. If you're waiting for the rest of the mattes, there will be one next week.

This was another early purchase from Viseart, although these are the shades I generally think of for holiday and winter.

Let's just jump into it, ok?

Row 1: Maintains the traditional lighter shade layout.

I know the Sultry Muse was supposed to recall old Hollywood glamour, but this row also gives me those feelings.

Row 2: I love these- and have worn the purple so many times. It's electric on the eye.

Row 3: My favorite.

This row screams holiday seasons. Cranberry, rich browns, inky blue skies, and evergreen trees. Yum.

These aren't necessarily colors I reach for on a daily basis, but Viseart has constructed such a lovely and sophisticated palette.

Viseart Friday: Paris Nudes Eyeshadow Palette

Happy Viseart Friday!

Carrying on with this happy series, let's dip into the Viseart Paris Nudes Eyeshadow Palette. Like last week's Sultry Muse, this is also a shimmer palette. In full disclosure, this was the first shimmer palette that I picked up because I was intrigued by something called Paris Nudes.

I know at least as a beauty-obsessed American, I always aspired to that effortless chic Parisian look. Given Viseart's French roots, this was a no-brainer. Let's take a closer look.

Overall, I think this palette can be summed up as "not too much." In other words, Parisian chic.

Let's go row by row. I won't have a lot to comment on each shade.

Row 1:

These types of shades can get lost on my skin, but I think they're lovely either on the lid or as accents.

Row 2:

These shades are so beautiful- but they aren't anything unique, to be honest. Still, it's nice to have Viseart's subtle take on these colors.

Row 3:

This row is stunning to me- especially that purple. Wow.

One could say this collection is pedestrian, but I think it's simple and beautiful.
