NOTD: Tom Ford Dominatrix

Today's NOTD is one of two Tom Ford nail lacquers that I stared at for over a year before finally pulling the trigger.  And like a can of Pringles claims, once you pop, you can't stop.  My new mini Tom Ford collection is a testament to how much I adore this formula.

I can't rave enough about this formula.  Loyal readers may remember my grumbling about most manis not even lasting one full day on my hands.  Tom Ford nail lacquers just go and go and go on me!  It's true love.

Dominatrix was released in Fall 2012 but added to the permanent collection. It can be found at Tom Ford counters at Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus, and others.

These swatches are with three thin coats of polish, and two thin coats of The Formula topcoat.  Amazingly enough, these are from Day 3 of 5 of this mani! Unreal!

I never thought I'd see the day, but I'm ready to pronounce this $32 nail lacquer a true value due to its longevity. I've played with a few colors and get multiple chip-free days.  Not even my beloved Chanels do that.

Here's another shot of this polish:

  1. This color is to die for! I've been ogling Tom Ford products for awhile now, but I can't seem to justify the price. However, $32 for nail polish that actually lasts? Sign me up :)

  2. I have to warn you- Tom Ford products are addicting!

I will say that I've tried Tom Ford polishes that are creams and have a metallic finish- both last and last and last on me. I am on a computer, typing 12+ hours per day, so it's well worth the investment.
