Burberry Lip Glow No 19 Mallow Pink

I'm happy to kick off Burberry month with one of the first products from Burberry Beauty that caught my attention on beauty blogs when it was first released last spring.

First, the details.  Burberry Lip Glow Natural Glosses retail for $27 each and contain 6ml/0.2 fl oz of product.  These glosses range from fully sheer to totally pigmented.

Mallow Pink was introduced in Spring 2013 and became a permanent addition to the line.

All Lip Glows come with a substantial wand, with the pewter Burberry check on the handle.

The applicator is the standard doefoot like Chanel Glossimers.

I don't have any lip photos for you today, but this is a highly pigmented, opaque poppy red gloss.

I pulled a few other glosses from my stash as a comparison.

Bite Fresh Fruit Lip Gloss Garnet is the most similar. Laura Mercier Rose Hope is redder.  Dior Diablotine, what I originally thought would be the closest, is far sheerer.

I found that this is a fairly moisturizing formula, and although the gloss is somewhat short-wearing, it stained my lips.  I haven't spent much time with this gloss but think it'll be a go-to as the spring and summer heat up.
