NOTD: Tom Ford Bitter Bitch

Yes, I know this is way out of season, but I love to mix up my manis with unexpected shades.

I have to smirk at the name of this NOTD.  So many Tom Ford Nail Lacquers are a bit cheeky with their names. Bitter Bitch is a chocolate creme with a flawless formula.  It self-levels, and you don't have to worry about it being patchy at all.

Swatches are with 2 coats, and topcoat.

  1. Just into my first TF nail polishes (long time Chanel collector) and I'm impressed with the formula on the two I have. Six days with base and top coat. But am I the only one who wishes for smaller bottles at a lower price point? I never finish a bottle of anything (except C's Rouge Noir!). Susan, London

  2. I've chatted with a number of TF reps who have all confirmed the same information independent of one another: TF lacquers are gel-based. That's their secret. So, TF was doing it years before the others!

I sort of like the larger bottles, to be honest. It makes me feel like I'm getting my money's worth! I've finished quite a few Chanel bottles (2 of Black Pearl, actually)

  3. Yes I've nearly finished my Black Pearl (so time for eBay back-up search) as well as Accessoire but so far Rouge Noir retains the distinction of being the only polish I have used up (several times).
